Our Story
Where it began
We are a 4th generation family farming business at Strathallan, Northern Victoria. Brothers Paul and BJ and their families work together on the farm. We have a chaff and hay business, Rich River Chaff and Hay, and have recently diversified and purchased a well-established garden mulch business, Rich River Garden Mulch.
Our Values
Quality Produce
Our crop is grown on the beautiful soils of the Campaspe River. It is then harvested, chopped to mulch, and packaged- all done on our family farm. Delivery from us to you is available Australia wide.
Community Support
Rich River Garden Mulch loves to support and donate to other local enterprises where we can, supporting our community.
Sustainability
We pride ourselves in becoming a more sustainable enterprise. We wish to leave the land in a better state than what it was before us, and encourage others to do the same. Natural fertilizer and compost is prioritised and used where possible on our paddocks.
